About This File

This was my last adventure with a backpack. I was 52 and Sammy was 2. We had a great time but I knew something was up as what used to take me about 6 hours to get to my favorite spot now took 2 days. 4 years later I was diagnosed with cancer. This adventure is a bushwhack, meaning no trail. The main lake in the mountains is just over 12k above sea level. I hope you like the video.

Once again, great music and nice production.

Looks like a beautiful place. Bushwacking to get to it would be a chore, but worth it!

Nice memories for you

Response from the author:

Thanks Jim. It was always a chore backpacking but it was the only way to truly get away from others. Most of the time I had a great dog with me and once in a while Karen joined me. She only did it once in a while as it is a chore for sure. Thanks again.
