About This File

Hello Everybody. I think this one came out pretty good. It's just under 3 and a half minutes. I planned a month long trip from mid September to mid October, two weeks in Colorado and two weeks in Utah. On the third day I started getting a toothache. Great. It got worse fast. So instead of a month I got 5 days, two of which were mostly driving. In the old days I could have made an appointment with my dentist and said, "Pull the rascal”. Now I have to go to the dentist, pay him, get a referral, go to that dentist, have a consultation, pay him for that, then he schedules me for October 4th to actually pull the tooth, and then needs more money. What a racket. When I called my main dentist the receptionist told me to take ibuprofen. It worked. If I'd know that I would still be in Colorado. BTW, when I was 50, I remember this as up until then I had 32 teeth, I got a real bad toothache while camping in Utah with Karen and our dogs Sammy and Lomax. It was on a Friday and dentist's usually work up until noon Thursday. We stopped in Moab to see if anyone was open on Friday. Luckily we found one in Monticello about 50 miles away. The dentist's office was in a mobile home. He had a high school girl as his helper. I said I needed a tooth pulled. He walked in and started chatting pleasantly and then pulled the tooth. One stop, one fee. And he was the best dentist I've ever encountered.

Another great one, Jeff.  Beautiful scenery, and you captured it well.  Nice drone shots once again.  Almost a parallax shot in a couple of them.  Thanks for sharing!  Stay well my friend.

Response from the author:

Thanks Bill...I had to look up Parallax as I'm not that smart.  Yes, you are correct, I did do a bit of that. Actually I do that a lot. Just call me the Parallax Kid.  Thanks, Bill for stopping by.

Hi Jeff,

Great show, and the landscapes with the drone shots were spectacular.

Perfect music for a show with this western landscape.

Thanks for showing.

Bert

Response from the author:

Thanks Bert. I had a pretty nice time and had a lot of fun with the drone. I only use it for a few minutes at a time and try to make sure nobody is around. The buzzing can be very annoying but if you fly high enough you can barely hear it.

Thanks again.
