The Beamish Museum in County Durham, England is a fantastic open air Museum. A brilliant place to visit, but to do it justice you really need two days as there is so much to see on a site that included working trams and old vehicles, a whole 1913 town street with shops, houses and a park, a pit village, a colliery, a farm, a railway station and much more. A visual treat. And already planned - a 1950's 'town'.
My images are the result of several visits last year, put together to give a taster of what you could see . . .
Thanks to James Pearson (Artistic/Musical Director of Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club in London) for his permission to use his music.
