This show is about our road trip from Medellin to Jardin, Colombia, to see if we could find the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock. Though it is the national bird of Peru, you can find them in Colombia, if you know where to look. My good friend, who lives in Medellin and is an excellent birder, knew where to find them. So here is a look at the town of Jardin and the beautiful Cock-of-the-Rock. There is also a few shots I took of an Olinguito, a newly discovered (in 2013) carnivore. To get under the upload size limitation, I had to remove one video clip and reduce the quality of the other. Crit -

This is my first attempt at the digital book. There is a lot to correct because some of the 'pages' do not open smoothly and I am still working on it. I run a small Audio Visual club at U3A Noosa in Queensland, Australia. All the members are new to AV's and this is one of the projects. -

Top of my bucket list was a visit to Maho Beach, St Maarten to witness the planes landing low over my head and to watch the take offs. I was not disappointed at all. I also flew to the nearby island of St Barts to experience the dangerous landing over a hill and down onto a short runway. I do have some shots of Sunwing Airlines, the airline that Ken Cox's grandson, Spencer is a pilot. Size of file: 26,6mb -

The Beamish Museum in County Durham, England is a fantastic open air Museum. A brilliant place to visit, but to do it justice you really need two days as there is so much to see on a site that included working trams and old vehicles, a whole 1913 town street with shops, houses and a park, a pit village, a colliery, a farm, a railway station and much more. A visual treat. And already planned - a 1950's 'town'. My images are the result of several visits last year, put together to give a taster of what you could see . . . The Parish Church in my home village of Hathersage in the Derbyshire Peak District, UK, is currently (January to June 2017) undergoing some serious interior building work in order to improve the ancient lighting and heating. I have been asked to record the work - before, during and after. These are my photos of the 'before' taken at the end of last year (2016) . . . -

Just a quick demo of some capabilities of PicturesToExe which are not found in other presentation slideshow products. Text circling a rotating planet (Jupiter in this case) is something which can be accomplished in Photoshop Extended in the 3D Video section, but it results in a video being created. The text can't be manipulated beyond what is done in the video. The colors on the front and back of text can't be different and individual characters can't be in different fonts, etc. With PicturesToExe this is all possible and much more! PTE is vastly more versatile for doing this than even Photos -

This is my tribute to the classic Sci-fi film 2OO1 : a Space Odyssey, inspired by the Through the Star Gate sequence with my own beginning and end. All done with stills, no video, in Pictures to EXE V8. You'll need a pretty fast PC to run the PC version without stuttering. I'm trying to upload the Video version which runs on almost anything but having no luck at the moment. -
