About This File

This show is based on a family trip from 1994. I've removed any photos of other family members for the most part. There are a lot of pics of me and Karen, so if that doesn't work for you just skip this one. At the time Karen worked the still camera for the most part and I worked the video camera. I bought this particular video camcorder because I could set the frame rate down to 6 frames a second so I could shoot it near darkness. Earlier that year we watched UFOs for an hour dancing in the sky above Canyonlands NP. Unfortunately I haven't seen a show like that since 1994. Nuts. I do think the pictures with us in them give some perspective of how enormous Death Valley is. By the way, the 1990s was the best time in our lives. I hope you enjoy the show and thanks for watching.

Released

I had forgotten to use my favorite picture from this trip, and then decided to move a few things around, nothing much but more to my liking.

Epic as always, Jeff.  So wonderful to see you and Karen together again.... even if it's some 28 years ago. Hope your health continues to be strong.

Response from the author:

Thanks a lot, Bill. I'm doing decent for now. I'm stuck at home right now as I have lots of appointments that have all fallen one right after another. And it's been very hot here so I was hoping to get up into the mountains, but it looks like maybe late August or Sept. September is always beautiful in the mountains and then I could head over to Utah for October as that is when they get the best weather. Since gas is so expensive it would be wise to stay in the area for at least a month to make it worth the expense.  At least I have time to save up for another fun adventure. Hope you and your Karen are doing well. All the best to you sir.
